The Civil Services Examination is held by Union Public Service Commission and it is considered as one of the toughest examination that covers almost 23 services and widest number of services is provided by it. Some of the all India services like Indian Administrative Services and Indian Police Services and many other central services.
The candidates are evaluated on the basis of following terms:
- On the basis of general awareness
- Their analytical ability
- Reasoning capacity
- Their mental ability to handle things in utmost stressful conditions.
Civil services examination comprises of two successive stages like:
- Pre examination- It comprises of objective type questions, and after succeeding in this stage a student becomes eligible for the next round.
- Main examination- This examination is subjective and after qualifying in this examination you become eligible for final round that is interview.
Preliminary Exam:
This examination comprises of two objective exams of 200 marks each
- First paper is of General Studies
- Second paper is of Aptitude
Main Exam:
This undergoes in two stages
- Written test
- Interview
